One of the services we offer is copying – either in black or in color.

There are several things you need to be aware of when you want copies of something.

First, if what you want is copies of a picture, the quality will be better if you have an electronic version of that photo. We can take photos off your camera card and print them. If you do not have the electronic version, we can simply lay your photo on our copy board and print.

Please do NOT write on the back of the photo if we need to lay it on the copy board. Sometimes the impression will come through on the front. You may not be able to see it, but the copier will pick it up.

Second, the copy will never be of substantially better quality than the original.  This means that small photos cannot be enlarged beyond a specific percentage. They will lose quality as they are enlarged.

Sometimes people have written on the back of a page they want copied, but the ink they have used on the back has bled through the paper and made a shadow on the front. Copying will not let us adjust that.

Third, if you want copies of a multi-page document, please bring it in paper clipped, not stapled. We can remove paper clips easily. Removing staples will leave a shadow of the holes the staple made on the copy.

Fourth, we can either staple your multi-page document if there are not too many pages or drill holes for it to go into a loose leaf notebook. The loose leaf binding works very well for genealogy albums or automotive manuals and the like. Our other choice is to coil bind. Generally the number of pages is a deciding factor on how to finish the copy job.

Sometimes we are able to copy short runs while you wait. If you want many copies of a large multi-page document, it will take longer, so please allow us some turn around time.
