Visual Space

The human eye is a funny thing. It likes to see visual space as much as it does objects.  We addressed some of those issues in prior post.

When you are designing an information piece, be it poster or invitation, communication needs to be your main focus.  The piece should be clear and eye-catching.

Basically that means any graphic used should have a clear point of attention, preferably a single point that draws the eye.

Blocks of text can be broken into bullet points that also command attention

Becomes:

  • Best merchandise
  • Most economical price point
  • Life time guarantee

Which will be easier to see and remember?
