Today we end the first month of 2019! Can you believe it? It seems time escapes faster and faster with the passing years.
As an item of interest, I looked to see what holidays and observances were scheduled for the coming month. This calendar reflects February holidays and observances. (I’m old enough to remember when we celebrated Lincoln’s birthday on the 12th and Washington’s birthday on the 22nd instead of combining them into a third Monday presidents’ day.)
So what is this good for? Well, if you are a business, checking this kind of calendar can give you a tie-in for specials you might want to offer your customers.
If you can relate a purchase to something that piques the customer’s interest, you are more apt to make the sale.
